The Farm Bill is a mystery to most organizers yet for community groups working on family quality of life issues, school quality, access to services and more, the Farm Bill has profound impact on communities of color. This webinar will provide an accessible overview of the legislation, explore potential threats to specific social programs including Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Women, Infants and Children (WIC) and funding that provides nutritious food in schools, and organizing efforts to ensure grassroots voices are at the table.
