Fair and just access to transportation is important in addressing just access to education, health care, jobs, food, public services and more. Transportation equity is a key tenet of civil rights and human rights – from the Montgomery bus boycott of 1954 to the fight over transit budget cuts today. This webinar will examine the issues, policies and recent policy proposals shaping access to transportation equity and why so many of the issues we work on depend on effective transportation policy.
